Crystal Glass and Iron Candleholder by Willy Johansson, Norway, 1970s

About the Item

A lovely crystal glass and cast iron candleholder by Norwegian designer Willy Johansson for Hadeland Glassverk in Norway 1970s. The candleholders are made of crystal glass and named Nautilus and each have a hole for a candle light in the middle. They are removable and can also be used seperately as single candle holders. Placed on a heavy black cast iron base with a handle in the middle for carrying or hanging up in the ceiling or other suitable places. Good vintage condition and patina. Size each glass holder: 7.5 cm D. Size of complete candleholder: 27.5 cm D x 13.5 cm H.
