Swedish Rococo Longcase Clock signed Petter Södermann Stockholm

About the Item

Very decorative and fine rococo longcase clock by the renowned clockmaker Petter Södermann Stockholm (1740-1813). Finely carved case with scroll and shellwork gilded and painted in a very light greenish off white. The movement has been carefully cleaned and revised by our experienced clock restorer and is in perfect working condition with an eight-day-movement, extremely finely chiseled gilt and pierced hands. All parts of this clock, eg. mechanism, hands, glass, weights and pendulum are original.
