Vintage Brass Pen, Phone Dialer, Paper Weight Attributed to Carl Aubock

About the Item

A vintage ink pen / rotary phone dialer / paper weight made of lacqered polished brass with an ink pen insert. The pen is model number 5037 and was designed by Carl Auböck of Werkstätte Carl Auböck in Austria. The pen is not signed, an original RICH'S, an Atlanta department store, label was on the pen, but it was removed to check for the signature, so this is a vintage piece and is not new. The pen is 7 inches long, the faceted body is 1/2 inches wide and the pen has some weight to it.

  • Condition:
    Wear consistent with age and use. The pen is in very good vintage condition, there are no dents, bends or cracks. There is some lacquer loss, scratches and discolorations. The pen appears to be out of ink.
