Large Pair of Famille Rose Pheasants by Samson
About the Item
A large pair of Famille Rose pheasants by Samson. The size alone makes them very rear and highly collectable. They are in extremely good condition with the colors speaking for themselves, circa 1860. Formed in in slightly different poses to add to the natural flow of the two birds. Perched on colorful rock work, each with gilt beaks, vibrant-red crests and breasts. The intricate multicolored plumage on the neck, tail and wings is exceptional.
