Josef Rindskopf Austrian Art Nouveau Silver Mounted Iridescent Art Glass Vase
About the Item
A stunning Bohemain Art Nouveau art glass vase with an iridescent marbled design and silver rim by Josef Rindskopf and dating from around 1904. The vase has a wide rounded lower body with tall slender neck and ball shaped top mounted with a silver rim. The vase has an iridescent trailed reeded stem spiralling around the neck with a root like terminal forming a handle where it connects to the lower body. The vase is not marked however the silver rim has London assay marks for 1904.
