Pair of Midcentury Sèvres Style French Gilt Porcelain Bisque Parian Vases Urns

About the Item

Stunning pair of French Sèvres style soft paste porcelain and Parian vases or urns of traditional cylindrical form and French origin, circa mid-20th century. The unusual central areas with a continuous detail depicting Cherub faces in Parian unglazed porcelain, the flaired upper rim area with decorative gilt swirling detail on a pale green ground, ending on circular spreading gilded bases. A very unusual pair, perhaps an Interior decorators useful offering. Condition: Good untouched condition with no imperfections and no wear to gilding, marks as shown. Measures: Height (entire as shown on image one) 10" (24.5 cm), diameter (at top rim) 4.75" (12 cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
