Russian Glass Vase from Red May, 1968

About the Item

Vase in lattimo glass in zinc sulphide decorated and blue coated, the base and the two stapled supports in honey-cognac glass shaded lattimo, the vase is decorated with dotted lines towards the mouth and become material and join together circuiting the corolla. Red May 1968 Red May province of Tver former Klyuchinsky factory, later known as the Vyshnevolotsky glass factory "Red May", ". For a century and a half, this enterprise has played an outstanding role in the history of glass. The invention of the "Russian miracle" so called, were products made of a complex composition, with zinc sulfide at the base.
