About the Item
Vase et sculpture en grès chamotté émaillé noir mat. Aspect brut. Effet d'émail inspiré de la lave noire des volcans islandais (retrait et concrétions) qui façonnent les paysages de cette île si époustouflante. La beauté et la force brute de la nature islandaise fascinent l'artiste qui essaie dans ses créations de lui rendre hommage.
Entièrement réalisé à la main dans l'atelier de l'artiste près de Montpellier (Sud de la France). La réaction de l'émail, les coulures et les concrétions qui se produisent lors de la cuisson à 1280°C en font une pièce unique.
Emaillé aussi à l'intérieur donc peut contenir des fleurs fraiches et de l'eau.
