A fine Modernist pewter pitcher or ewer.
By John 'Jack' Prip.
In the form of a narrow, tapering pitcher with an integral handle.
Prip, a master metalsmith, is an extremely important figure in the history of American metalsmithing. Prip was Danish-American and combined the technical excellence he learned from experts like Danish Master Silversmith Evald Nielsen with the American spirit of innovation.

Condition Details:
There is a small amount of wear, discoloration and bending at the spout. Otherwise, the surface has an unpolished (and unwashed) patina, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Marked to the base with: Pewter / a John Prip signature / 3 struck hearts
