Carl-Harry Stalhane, Crystal Glaze Stoneware Vase, Rörstrand, Sweden 1950's

About the Item

Carl-Harry Stålhane, Stoneware vase with crystale glaze, Rörstrand, Sweden 1950's Impressed Rörstrand R three crowns CHS SWEDEN The entire surface of the vase is covered with a thin brown glazed surface, which is then covered with a double layer of crystalline glaze, which mixes with each other and flows in a complex landscape. It has a complex and dynamic appearance, like a natural stone or rock. The shape of the piece is in the form of an oriental old porcelain vessel for pouring wine, and Stalhane is particularly influenced by Chinese old porcelain. The series was made by moulding, and a certain number of pieces were produced by artisans, but no two pieces have the same glazed look. In good condition. The vessel has been examined by an expert by UV light and visual inspection to ensure that there are no repairs and that it is not twice kiln fired.
