Magnificent large and rare George lll Irish sterling Dublin silver loving cup of large proportions, with twin “C” handles. Engraved Coat of Arms for Trench Family.
Mark of Daniel Egan. Dublin. Ireland.
Dublin Hallmark for 1807.
The main outer upper rim lavishly engraved depicting scrolling three leaf Shamrock. The circular spreading base engraved with a band of Greek Key patter.
Height: (entire overall as shown in image) 9” (23.75cm). Width: (across handles) 8.75" (22.25cm). Diameter: (top rim) 4.75” (12cms).
Total weight: 21.8ozs. (617.6grams).
Condition: Superb condition with no losses, nice clear hallmarks to base, seem to have never been used.
