American Folk-art Steam Ship Encased Diorama We share what we love, and we love this turn of the century hand crafted American folk-art encased steam ship model, created from a variety of found objects, including metal, fabric, and wood. The craftsmanship in create such a well-proportioned example demonstrates great skill as shown in the photos provided, Untouched in form and still preserved in its original glass fronted case. Size of inches: H 16” x W 33” x D 8” Condition: Aged Origin: American Age: 1900 - 1920 Completely solid in structure and form, Natural aging across all surfaces. The contents of this diorama has never been opened but is in excellent condition as shown, no breaks but some moisture stains to the reverse of the paper backing as shown in the scene.
