Francesco Zoli (1924-1998) Faenza Bas-relief In Crete
About the Item
The son of one of Faenza's best-known potters, he learned the art of working with clay at an early age. He turns out to be a sculptor and ceramist of high caliber. He is credited with establishing, in the early 1950s, at the School of Art
G. Pellegrino of Lecce of the first pottery workshop. He later became a teacher at the Bari School of Art before retiring to his hometown.
The bas-relief presented here is from the 1970s , the material used by the artist is clay, with a bronze-colored paint finish.

The item is in good conservative condition, no cosmetic or structural defects to report, just slight and obvious signs of time due to use and age . (Please see photos)
