Vintage Decorative Italian Floor Lamp in Brass and Marble , 1950's minimalism
About the Item
Offered for sale is a vintage floor lamp, made in Italy in the 1950s. It's crafted from metal and brass and has a round white marble base with a nice texture. It has three light bulbs, with elegantly shaped shades in white opaline glass. The three shades are held in position by finely machined brass screws, three for each shade.
The lamp presents no labels or engravings and therefore can not be attributed to any designer or manufacturer; however, its lines show a resemblance to several Stilnovo designs, like the Alberello and others pieces manufactured by the famous Italian factory.
Our lamp is preserved in original and untouched conditions, but the cable, plug and switch have recently been replaced with moder ones as the original wiring was worn out and unsafe. The job has been carried out by a certified electrician, and the fixture is now in perfect working conditions.
