Pair of Modernist Table Lamps after Harry Bertoia
About the Item
Remarkable pair of lamps produced by Visual Comfort circa 2012. 7" deep, 10" wide and 27.5" to the top of finial. Lamp Shades shown and available if requested - they are original. Modeled undoubtably after Harry Bertoia's sonambient modernist sculptures. Solid and heavy with some movement in the rods when touched. Dozens of rods have been welded into place upon the base which has 4 welded feet. The lamp sockets are signed Visual Comfort. the metal presents in excellent condition with mild patina. The lamp shades has some marks to them with one having 3 of 4 sides without flaws, and the other 2 of 4 sides without flaws. The lamps shades are in a parchment and will be included if requested but are in average condition. Outstanding design with an industrial touch. Come with 12 foot cords, sockets working perfectly.
