1870s Genitourinary Instruments of Bougies Oak Box Antique Medical Device

About the Item

Set of genitourinary instruments of Bougies, medical instruments placed in a box made of oak, made second half of the nineteenth century. Box measures 5.5x14.1x2.4 inches. On the lower shelf there are 8 instruments from 53 to 60, all signed Allegretti. The same numbering is also engraved on the box. On higher level there are 8 instruments: the number 45 is signed Rota Torino; theinstruments number 42, 44 and 48 are unsigned; other 4 smaller instruments unsigned. Originally the top shelf had to contain the instruments numbered from 45 to 52, but it is a set that was actually used by a doctor, who over the years has replaced some instruments. Shipping is insured by Lloyd's London.
