Victorian Period. sterling silver-mounted threaded crystal match striker, Birmingham, England, year-hallmarked for 1897, Hoveden and Sons (Robert Albert and Charles William), Ltd. makers. Measures almost 2 1/2 inches high x 2 1/2 inches diameter. There are a few very minor dints to the sterling rim (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. Dark areas in photos are reflections. In good antique condition.
