Biedermeier Style 5-Panel Parcel Ebonized Mahogany Screen with Silk Curtains
About the Item
20th c., a Biedermeier style 5-panel parcel ebonized mahogany with champagne color silk curtains and brass grille x panels, unmarked.
This divider allows for partial privacy and the flow of light. Screens are a wonderful way to bring patina and personalization to a space and achieve a layered, well-traveled look. While wallpaper is a fabulous option for some added pop, a screen can achieve the same effect with the added benefits of additional texture and portability.
