Elegant and rare large model bench / coffee tables (Model 5275) designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stølefabrik, Denmark in the 50s.Solid oak frame with hand-woven cane all in very good original condition and signed by manufacturer label (dated September 1972). Only minor wear and no cane defects.

    Beautiful aged set of seven J39 'Shaker' Dining Chairs designed by Børge Mogensen in 1947 for FDB Møbler, Denmark. The solid and sturdy high quality oak frames have a warm patina and are refinished with a new layer of oil. The seats of this early set are upholstered with hand-woven rush in stead of the later version with papercord. Despite the age of the chairs, the whole is in very nice condition with minimal traces of use and can still be used for many decades to come. The chair is very functional and suitable for use in both private and public spaces. Partly because of this, the chair was named 'The People's Chair' and became one of FDB Møbler's best-known chair.
