Josef Frank, chair model 695, Svenskt Tenn, 1970s

About the Item

Semi early production of Josef Frank chair, model 695 produced by Svenskt Tenn. Frank came to Sweden from Austria in the early 1930s and was employed by Svenskt Tenn in 1934 so this was one of his earliest designs for the firm. This example is from the 1960s or 1970s. The frame is made of mahogany with black leather seat and back. New padding to the seat for good comfort. Good vintage condition with normal ware consistent with age and use including a few small scratches and marks and a tiny bit of patina to the leather.
