Hans J. Wegner Halyard Deckchair in Oak

About the Item

A classic deckchair designed by Hans J. Wegner in the 1950s, currently produced to-order by PP Møbler in Denmark. This example dates to the mid-2000s. The frame is constructed of solid white oak, the seat is woven in black cotton halyard rope and the lounge is fully outfitted with hand-machined stainless steel hardware. A down-filled sage green leather head pillow and optional sheepskin are included. The overall look of this lounge is clean, crisp and modern. This piece has had little use and shows only subtle signs of wear. The backrest is adjustable with four settings and folds flat for easier storage. A beautiful, functional piece of Scandinavian design; suitable for use indoors and out-of course, depending on climate. Lay back and enjoy!
