Pair 18th Century Italian Chestnut Hall Chairs Carved With Lion Crests

About the Item

Handsome pair of 18th century Italian Baroque chestnut side or hall chairs with circular open work backs holding a shield with beautifully carved lions in the centers. From northern Italy, in the alpine style, with bobbin turned splayed legs. Hand carved and beautifully crafted. Deep and rich patina that only comes from age and use. If you want to go green buy these chairs, they will out last you and be passed down to generations to come. 39 inches high 16 deep 17.5 wide Seat height 18 inches
