Giuseppe Maggiolini neoclassical marquetry chest of drawers, Italy, circa 1960
Offered for sale is a fine Italian marquetry commode by the prominent cabinet maker Giuseppe Maggiolini. This fine example of the work of Maggiolini has intricate wood inlays and is an exact replica of the 18th century original from their Baggio collection. It has its original three keys as pictured. On the interior, you will find it's the certificate of authenticity with its wax seals as pictured.
