Vintage Custom Painted Italian French Regency Style Tall Secretary Desk & Chair
About the Item
Beautiful hand-painted vintage, two-piece secretary desk with matching chair. The pieces are painted in a whimsical Italian style, largely blue and off-white, with intricate bird and floral motifs on the secretary. Both pieces have a Louis XVI inspired form, with the secretary having diamond wire front doors, urn-form finials, two central drawers, long tapered legs and a pull-out writing surface. The chair has similarly tapered legs, nicely carved floral accents and caned back and seat. Listing includes desk and matching chair.
Measurements:
Secretary: 84" high x 40" wide x 20.25" deep overall. 29.75" deep with the desk pulled out
The top portion alone measures 55" high x 9.5" deep
Chair: 35.25" H x 21" W x 19.25" D x 17" seat height.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Very good vintage condition being structurally sound with age appropriate signs of normal use as pictured. Paint loss and small pokes to caning on the seat and back of chair as pictured. Minor dings and paint loss to secretary. Overall very nice.
