Contemporary Organic Natural Plaster "Ovum" Table 170cm by Isabelle Beaumont
Located in Ranst, BE
Contemporary Belgian design, handmade natural plaster coffee table with a textured and earthy character. Indoor use (price outdoor +10%) Latin adjective “ovum” /ˈo.u̯um/: egg The Ovum coffee table is handcrafted with multiple layers Mortex® on a wooden base. Mortex is a premium natural plaster that has proven its quality in construction purposes for years. It is used for bathrooms, floors, stairs, swimming pools, etc. In terms of composition, it is similar to products like Betoncire or Venetian plaster, but Mortex does not contain epoxy or polyurethane resins and it is waterproof by nature. The plaster is applied using the “a fresco” method, which means the previous layer has not yet fully hardened before the next one is applied. This technique allows all layers to bond together and obtain the highest quality result. The result of this handcrafted process is a textured piece of art with a human touch. *The irregularities, imperfections and color shades that arise after the application of the plaster leaves the signature of the craftsman. This makes each piece unique. The altruistic & humble character of our pieces ensures that they can be used in many different styles, such as contemporary, wabi sabi, japandi, minimalism, brutalism, industrialism, etc. Atelier...

Modern Coffee Table by Donatas Zukauskas
Located in Geneve, CH
Modern Coffee Table by Kasanai Dimensions: D 63 x H 40 cm. Materials: Oak, cement, recycled paper, glue, paint. 15 kg. The visual inspiration for the coffee table is a combination of natural wood and concrete. These two opposite materials combined, create a unique character of the product that has the coldness of concrete and the coziness of wood. The main goal of the project was to create not only a piece of furniture, but also a sculptural and elegant detail of the interior. The tabletop is made of natural oak, and the base of the table, resembling concrete in appearance, is made by pouring solid mass. The set task was technologically challenging - it was necessary to fuse wet mass and moisture-sensitive wood. The entire structure of the table is manufactured at the same time, so that the two materials join together smoothly and precisely to avoid any gaps. After the product dries, it is scrubbed, and the tabletop is oiled. The black concrete-like material is the result of various experiments. It is a mixture of several components: an eco-friendly of cement, recycled paper, glue, and paint. Dried it becomes as strong as wood, it resembles concrete but is slightly elastic, so it does not split or crumble. The result is a natural texture and strength that ensures durability, setting it apart as a unique and sustainable piece. Tripod Coffee Table by Donatas Zukauskas
Located in Geneve, CH
Tripod Coffee Table by Kasanai Dimensions: D 50 x H 52 cm. Materials: Concrete, wood, recycled paper, glue, paint 6 kg. The fusion of sturdiness and elegance, along with the blend of archaism and modernity. More than just a surface for placing objects, these tables are functional pieces of art that effortlessly become focal points within any room. Crafted with an eco-friendly mixture of cement, recycled paper, glue, and paint, this table undergoes meticulous experimentation to achieve a material closely resembling wood in its properties. The result is a natural texture and strength that ensures durability, setting it apart as a unique and sustainable piece. One remarkable attribute of this material is its slight elasticity. Unlike rigid materials that may be prone to splitting or crumbling under pressure, this table material exhibits a flexible nature, providing a level of resilience that enhances its longevity. Natural Plaster Coffee Table "Sami" by Isabelle Beaumont
Located in Ranst, BE
Contemporary Belgian design / Handcrafted / Organic shape / Ecological material / Natural lime plaster / Concrete look / Made on demand Color pictures: BM20.5 Cacao Ultra Light Indoor use (price outdoor +10%) The name of the Sami collection is a combination of the Dutch word 'samen' (together) and the Japanese word 'Sabi' (rustic patina). The Sami designs are distinguished by the shape that is carried through the entire piece of furniture, from top to base. By allowing all lines to flow in the same direction, peace and unity is created. The Sami coffee table is handcrafted with multiple layers Mortex® on a wooden base. Mortex is a premium quality natural plaster that has already been used for years for bathrooms, floors/stairs, walls, swimming pools, etc. In terms of composition, it is similar to products like Betoncire or Venetian plaster, but Mortex does not contain epoxy or polyurethane resins and is waterproof by nature. The structure and color shades that arises after the application of the plaster leaves the signature of the craftsman. This makes each piece unique. The plaster has the same characteristics as natural stone and is very easy to maintain after the multiple layer coating. Due to the flexibility of the material, the color and shape possibilities are endless. With a focus on quality and durability, Atelier BB's furniture will withstand the test of time, becoming cherished pieces that you can enjoy for years to come. Each piece of furniture is carefully crafted by hand with attention to detail and a focus on functionality, so that it not only looks great but also serves its purpose with ease. Isabelle Beaumont...
