Danish Rosewood Round Extension Table in the style Kai Kristiansen, 1960s
About the Item
Well-maintained round rosewood dining table with extension leaves, attributed to architect Kai Kristiansen. Produced in the 1960s, this rare wood table is in excellent condition with no noticeable flaws. Cleaned and treated for preservation. Rosewood, a threatened species, hasn't been used in furniture production for years, making this table a rare find predating regulations. Sold with matching chairs from the same home, all meticulously cared for by a single owner. Diameter of 115cm and height of 70.5cm. Each extension leaf measures 55cm, extending the table to 170cm and 225cm.
Note that one leaf matches the tabletop while the other is original but may not match as closely. Legs can be unscrewed for easy transport. Worldwide shipping available. Mid-century Danish design, made in Denmark.
