Very Fine Louis XV Style Dressing Table With Swirl Stone Top
About the Item
A very well made, large and sumptuous French Style Dressing Table having an all wood construction, several lovely bronze mount accents, pronounced Cabriolet legs, handsome chosen wood and a dazzling multi-hue Fitted Stone Top which trends into very subtle colors of Tans, Creme, Salmon, and Pink with Charcoal. The Stone Dressing top surface is surmounted by a two drawer upper section which holds a Cartouche Form beveled Swivel Mirror with a fine reflection.
The Dressing Table measures 42.5” by 21.75” deep by 59.75” high.
Condition: Please see all detail photos.Due to slight age warp age, the stone does not lie entirely flat on the frame however a compensating wood wedge has been inserted which stabilizes the stone (mentioned for accuracy). There is a wood trim loss to the mirror support on the right side corner where it meets the stone clearly seen in the photos. The overall condition is very good with only minor acceptable age and use wear including some light scratches, nicks etc. which do not affect the exceptional presentation.
