3 Dutch Delft Porceleyne Fles rectangular small wall plates with floral borders
Plate 1 is 's-Gravenhage (The Hague)
The Maurits or Grenadiers gate was completed in 1634 to improve access to the Square of the Binnenhof. The new gate was later given the name Mauritspoort because of its location next to the Mauritshuis. A striking feature of the current appearance of the gate is the coat of arms of Holland, which is visible on both sides above the passage.
Marked on reverse with the mark of the Dutch delft Porceleyne Fles
Dated with P = 1894 and painter initials of P.C.M. Fouw (1883-1931)
Impressed mark of Joost Thooft & La Bouchere
The measurements are 16 cm high, 12.3 cm wide and the depth is 1.5 cm
