BAILEY Wilfred fl. 1942-1954 - Teal Streak over a Widening Dyke signed (lower right) oil on canvas 50 x 75cm (19 11/16 x 29 1/2in).
In original canvas covered and gilt lined frame.
Wilfred Bailey was a little-known self-taught artist and racehorse owner who was also a contributor to the Dalesman magazine. He is best known for his depictions of wild foul in flight and hunting scenes.
