Edwardian enameled Pansy flower brooch. Beautiful three-dimensional five-petals pansy flower, created in New Jersey North America during the Edwardian and the Art Nouveau periods, between the 1900-1910. This versatile pendant brooch has been carefully crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish and fitted at the reverse with a hinged pin bar with a mechanical lock and ring to wear in a chain. The flower is embellished with applications of non-glossy powder enamel with a color gradation of purples with hints of black and yellow. The enamel work is meticulous, far exceeding the details of the fibers and veins of the leaves. It is an amazing jewel with exquisite and exceptional details. Pansies and flowers symbolize a hope that love should not be forgotten. Diamond: Mount in the center in a four-prongs setting, with 1 old European round cut diamond of about 0.15 carats, white colorless F/G, VS-2 clarity. Weight: 14.35 Grams (9.28 Dwt).
