What is the height of a standard chair?

1 Answer
What is the height of a standard chair?
The standard height of a chair depends on its type. Generally, experts discuss the seat height of chairs as opposed to their overall height, as the height of the seat determines how well it performs its primary function of providing comfortable seating. The average seat height is 18 to 20 inches, and 16 to 21 inches for office chairs. Most accent chairs have seat heights of around 16 inches. Shop a wide variety of chairs on 1stDibs.
