About the Item
This small original hand-drawn illustration by Elizabeth Iadicicco is made with illustration marker, pen, and colored pencil on Strathmore marker paper. The drawing captures two yellow and orange parrots sitting on a branch together, on a minimalist white background. The drawing itself measures 8" x 6", and is 9.25" x 7.25" x 0.75" framed. It is signed by the artist on the back of the paper, and is framed in a white frame. It is ready to hang.
Elizabeth Iadicicco was born in Washington D.C. and lived in several different cities throughout her childhood including Helsinki, Warsaw, and London. She studied Fine Art at Syracuse University and later attained her Masters Degree in Arts Management from HEC Montreal. She now lives and works in the Hudson Valley.
Elizabeth's illustrations aim to reconnect the viewer with the simplicity and freedom of childhood and the natural world. She is inspired by cartoon artists like Bill Waterson, Jason Chatfield, and Tove Jansson, and illustrators like Peppa Potter and Esther Clark.
