A particularly fine early 20th century watercolour by Wycliffe Egginton (1875-1951), depicting a female figure crossing the blustery common at Belstone, Dartmoor. The watercolour has been signed by the artist to the lower left. Presented in a crisp wash-line mount and slim gilt frame. Fixed to the reverse of the frame is an inscribed Eland's Gallery label with the title of the artwork and artist's name. On watercolour paper.
