This piece is a rectangular red earthenware clay plaque, printed with engobe pad in black, created by Pablo Picasso in 1964. This piece is numbered from the edition of 100 numbered copies and bears both the Madoura and "Empreinte Original de Picasso" stamps on the verso. The plaque measures 13 x 10.25 inches and the framed dimensions are 24 x 21.25 inches. This piece is referenced as number 520 on pages 260 and 261 of "Picasso: catalogue of the edited ceramic works" by Alain Ramie, 1988.
