About the Item
MEDIUM: Hand-Painted Limited Edition Cel
EDITION SIZE: 500
SIZE: 17.75” x 14.5”
SIGNED BY: Andre Agassi
SKU: WB1052
“…Agassi charges the net and executes a near perfect power-lob-drop…shot…” This delightful hand-painted limited edition cel features the World-Class talent of André Agassi and teammate Taz in a distinctive “mixed-up doubles” competition vs. “That Oscar-winning Rabbit” Bugs Bunny and his slightly distracted partner Daffy Duck (how can a ham have so many feathers?).
This image began with a photograph of the tennis Superstar, which was combined with a custom painted background through the magic of modern technology. Meanwhile an original drawing of Taz, Bugs and Daffy was created to capture the Looney action on court. The master ink line of this drawing was then silk-screened onto an acetate sheet (cel). Each cel was then expertly hand- painted on the reverse side.
