Signed lower right. This Mid Century Modern artist, Malcom Edgar Case (1924-1984), is known for abstract figurative painting and clothing design. The artist, whose name is commonly misspelt as Malcolm Edgar Case, spent time much time in The Hamptons, NY and much of New England. Most of this artist's works available are watercolors and drawings. This oil painting is an exquisite abstract of the period that conveys the peacefulness of connections. This artist has possible influence from Joan Miro as well as Alexander Calder. This mid-centurty modern abstract is excellent condition and comes with its period frame!
