About the Item
Natalya enjoys working on impressionist artworks with an expressive touch.
This nature artwork was done with oil paints on a stretched cotton canvas.
In her artworks Natalya transforms her energy by using these vibrant colors, forms, and composition to create inventive and expressive works of art that resonate with impact and feeling. She tried to add layers of meaning, significance, and depth to her artworks.
Her artworks allow her to express herself freely, to express her emotions and explore her identity. While working on this art piece, Natalya trusted herself completely and enjoyed a full experimentation. The key is to immerse herself into the creativity and see what it'll give her as a result in the end.

Natalya is a contemporary artist from Lyon, France. She was born and grew up in Kazakhstan, the country known for its spacious steppes and low mountains. She arrived in France 2003. Since that moment she loves her adoptive country. She started painting in 2017 and used it as a therapeutic and emotional release during times of crisis when she was struggling with radical life changes. She incorporates this therapeutic approach in her artistic creative process till now. Several years ago painting became more than a hobby. It became a way of expressing her emotions and visions, a successive reaction to events of either personal or general concern. Her artist statement: “ I paint as it’s a necessity for my soul to express itself. Being creative for me is overcoming the restrictions. My art is a piece of my soul. I hope my art inspires reflection, provides a release and forms connection at other people’s souls”. She has developed her own vision of art through practicing a lot. She makes use of varying degrees of figuration, abstraction and impressionism by adding a contemporary twist. Abstract art for her is an interesting challenge for understanding inner feelings, a self-expression based on an intuitive approach. In figurative art her main subject remains women. Her artworks representing women contain the raw emotions of women. She also communicates the importance and the power of strong female relationships: “Women are enriched when they bond with each other”. She works in series: among them are "Heart-mind connection" of abstract artworks, "Women", "Bond", "Florals", "Springtime"... She uses various mediums ( acrylic, oil, watercolor, oil pastels) to create her unique artworks either on canvas or on paper. But she mainly uses acrylic as she works very quickly and expressively by finishing her artwork in one sitting. If Natalya had to pick one quote about her art, she would say : " Art is the reflection of the soul". Natalya goes with her gut and intuition to choose the colors, the lines, the shapes and the texture. She hopes her artworks will give a home a unique personality by filling it with life and color. Her sources of inspirations are Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Henri Matisse, George-Daniel de Monfreid, Paul Gauguin. She also admires the artworks of Joan Mitchell and Banksy.

- Richard Whadcock, Early Light, Bright Art, Contemporary Drawings, Realist ArtBy Richard WhadcockLocated in Deddington, GBRichard Whadcock Early Light Original Landscape Drawing Oil on Paper Sheet Size: 51 cm x61 cm x 0 cm Framed Size: 70 cm x82 cm x 3.7 cm Sold Framed Slightly Off white with museum quality non-reflective glass and archival mount Free Shipping Please note that in situ images are purely an indication of how a piece may look. Early Light is an original oil on paper by Richard Whadcock. This was an early morning on the way to the study. A sea mist was being slowly lifted by the rising sun and revealing the surroundings through subtly changing diffused light.. Richard Whadcock is a contemporary artist specialising in atmospheric landscape paintings. His contemporary landscape paintings explore the South Downs and East Sussex coast. Trying to capture its ever changing dramatic atmosphere from silent stillness to squally days. The South Downs are only a starting point as the paintings themselves eventually take over and follow their own path creating their unique surface landscape. Richard studied at Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic from 1986-89 where the work crossed between painting and printmaking. He then went onto study for his MA at the Royal College of Art specialising in printmaking. He utilised etching but mainly lithography due to its closeness to painting. Along side these he would also paint with all these disciplines feeding each other and expanding ideas. After leaving college Richard was awarded a residency at the Lowick House Print Workshop in Cumbria and more recently, 2014, he was also awarded a two week residency at Cill Rialaig artists village in Kerry, Ireland. His studio has been part of the Phoenix Arts studios in Brighton for the last 15yrs. It is one of the largest artist lead organisations remaining. The work crosses between small works on paper to large scale oils on canvas up to 200cm x 200cm...Category
