About the Item
This fanciful, contemporary depiction of a forest, resplendent with a rainbow of colors, brings a transitional, upbeat mood to any space. The unique imagery in this original oil painting gives 'landscape' a new perspective! Polish American artist Eugene Maziarz brings added excitement to the piece with his impasto paint application and layering of images while adds a meditative softness as the light glimmers subtly through the tree trunks. Prior to migrating to the United States, Maziarz was appointed, by the Ministry Committee of Culture of Warsaw, Poland, a member of the prestigious Polish Organization of Artists; while still a resident of Poland, Maziarz taught art at some of the leading Polish universities. This original 30x40 oil painting comes in a distressed silver leafed frame.
