About the Item
John T. LeMon, Irish 1866-1941
Born in Belfast in 1866, LeMon emigrated to the U.S. in 1898 and practised as an artist in San Francisco. He worked in oils and pastels, and depicted landscapes, coasts, and scenes of the San Francisco Bay area. In 1930 he moved to Portland, Oregon, where he lived until his death in 1941.

sound condition though showing its age with former retouching in places and the stretcher bar indents showing through at certain angles.
