Signed upper right 'Minou' for Carole Minou (American, 1946-2012) and dated 1989.
An elegant oil still-life showing a view of three pomegranates and a child's wooden block arranged behind a delicate Navajo weaving.
A California native, Minou was a long-time member of the Carmel Art Association where she exhibited with success for over thirty years. With the artist Bill Bates, she was co-creator of the large mural installed at San Carlos and Seventh Avenue in Carmel.
