This intricate coloured print is a fine example of Kunisada's later work. The image tells a scene from the Tale of Genji. The signature to the lower left of the print reflect the signatures used by Kunisada after 1850. Presented in a fine black frame. On japon paper.

By 1919 Hermann Käthelhön had established himself and was well known for his numerous drawings, etchings and woodcuts of people and landscapes of the Schwalm in Willingshausen. He portrayed peasants with great care, was fascinated by the Willingshausen landscape and captivated by the motifs of field work.
