Claudio Palmieri
Germination - Original Ceramic by Claudio Palmieri - 2005

2005

About the Item

Germination is an original artwork realized by Claudio Palmieri in 2005. Original glazed ceramic sculpture. Original title: Germinazione Very good conditions. This beautiful little sculpture represents an abstract shape realized by the artist using light blue and a few touches of yellow and white. The result is a majestic example of how the artist draws on an original dimension of nature thanks to the continuous experimentation of different processes and materials. Claudio Palmieri, born in Rome in 1955, was a protagonist of the New Roman School, or Via del Paradiso, and boasts more than twenty years of national and international artistic activity. This versatile artist deals with painting and sculpture with equal expressive ability, rejecting conventional disciplinary barriers and, at the same time, enhancing the linguistic peculiarities (painting, photography, sculpture, sound research). His works are permanently exhibited in national museums and in several Italian cities.
