About the Item
A crowd of diverse people and ages stand at a cross road in a Mexican city. The artist first sketched the individuals in plein air, and then produced the ceramic sculpture with their faces. This sculpture may be hung on the wall the way one does a painting. The artist's signature is featured at the bottom of the piece.
Angelina is an artist who only uses her first name. She was trained in pedagogy and psychotherapy at the University of Mexico (UNAM), where she also studied sculpture. As a former psychotherapist, she is interested in portraying humans in their various states of being.
