The late 19th century chairs have a curved tablet style back inspired by Greco-Roman klismos chairs. The set consists of 16 side chairs and 2 host armchairs measuring 22.5 inches wide and deep. The chairs have delicate satinwood inlay and are supported by elegant tapered, reeded legs in the front ending with a spade foot.
