Antique Edwardian 1910s Vintage Ivory Net Tulle Dress W Soutache Embroidery Trim
About the Item
This is an incredible vintage dress from the 1910's!! The soutache detail is so well done and we especially love the pretty three layers of soft netting . The base layer is solid with a with a thick tulle hemline and waistband. The top layer is a flowy layer of fine netting with horizontal stripes. The sides of the dress have a third layer of netting embellished with the soutache trim.
The dress has many layers with little metal snaps. You really have to appreciate the detail in the construction of this dress, everything is perfectly done by hand. The underlayer of the dress has the sleeves with the soutache detail around the end of the sleeves. The top layer of the dress lays on top like a tank. All measurements are taken from the under layer, considering it is much smaller than the top layer. Estimated size: 2. Please review all of the measurements to determine fit.
This dress would make a perfect summer party dress or even a wedding dress for the bride wanting a less formal, one of a kind look!
