This is such a seductive and dramatic 1950's evening gown from the iconic Ceil Chapman designer label. Perfect for any upcoming event; you can't help but feel feminine in this beauty! The garment is fashioned from stunning black French chantilly-lace & silk-rayon. The bodice is an exquisite low-cut plunge, fully-boned strapless with a vibrant pink satin waist-sash. I love the sculpted peplum skirting which finishes this garment off with a perfect "femme fatale" silhouette. The construction is so fresh and modern but also still has a timeless quality. Ceil Chapman is often said to be Marilyn Monroe's favorite designer and I can totally see why. This dress is flirtatious and elegant at the same time. Old Hollywood glamour at its best!
