Elegant large bag in navy blue leather with check stitching by the famous Lancel brand, dating from the 1990s. Besace shape with two interior compartments closed by press-stud and zip. Two handles for carrying on the shoulder or in the hand, with four double rings of gilded metal engraved with the Lancel brand. The interior is lined in navy blue damask with the Lancel logo. Small gold plaque inside stating Made in Italy Lacel Paris, and original red pouch. Supple leather with no scratches to the corners. No signs of use. Very good overall condition in terms of colour and conservation.
Dimensions: 36 cm x 28 cm x 11 cm. Handle height 27 cm.
Lancel is a French leather goods company founded in Paris in 1876 by Angèle and Alphonse Lancel and later developed by their son Albert. The company remained in the hands of the founding family until 1997, when it was bought by the Richemont group. Then, on 1 June 2018, Lancel was acquired by the Italian group Piquadro.
