Stone Buddha from the Edo period in Japan/1750-1850/Garden ornaments

About the Item

This is a stone Buddha made from the middle to late Edo period in Japan. It depicts Jizo Bodhisattva sitting. Most stone Buddhas are made of granite, and others are made of andesite or sandstone. This Jizo Bodhisattva is made of granite. Over the years, the wind and rain have smoothed out the sculpture, giving it an abstract appearance. However, the head, torso, and legs are well-balanced, forming a beautiful triangular shape, reminiscent of the famous Great Buddha of Kamakura. The size is neither too big nor too small, so you can display it in a corner of your garden or living room without getting in the way. It is in good condition with no scratches. This is a very beautiful stone Buddha. it's recommended. Weight: 9.5kg [We mainly sell old Japanese items. We've seen tens of thousands of items so far.
