Pair of Columns in Carved Wood, 17th Century
About the Item
Each one shows a lower part decorated in relief with vases joined by ribbons and a grooved shaft divided into two areas and has a composite capital. Although the motifs are of classical tradition, the strength of the reliefs and the lines of the columns unite the pair with Spanish Baroque examples of the seventeenth century."
