About the Item
To your consideration one of her first pieces, this beautiful hand hammered copper and brass midcentury vase. Made and signed by Gene Byron, a Canadian artist, who moved to Marfil, Guanajuato, Mexico with his Spanish husband in the 1950s.
The property where she lived was donated to the state where they created a museum in her honor and which is named "Casa Museo Gene Byron".
